This September, Singapore once again played host to Medical Fair Asia, from 9–11 September for its 16th edition as Southeast Asia’s leading international healthcare trade fair. Co-located with Medical Manufacturing Asia, RehaCare Asia, and OS+H Asia 2026, the show brought together exhibitors and visitors from across the region for three days of diagnostics, hospital equipment, rehabilitation technology, and everything in between.
Medical Fair Asia explores new products, regulatory trends, and business opportunities across the region’s medical device industry — alongside a full track of industry conferences, expert forums, and business matching connecting exhibitors with potential partners.

SaMDs moving closer to clinical use
Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) was hard to miss across the exhibition floor. What stood out was how specific many of its applications have become — from screening and monitoring to clinical decision support and surgical navigation. Rather than AI as a broad concept, many of the solutions on display were designed around clearly defined clinical needs.
From Korea, Nunaps presented its digital health platform under the 2026 K-Health Global PoC Program.
Can an X-ray already being taken tell us more? Promedius presented Osteo Signal, an AI-powered osteoporosis screening tool built on routine chest X-rays.
AI is also moving closer to the operating room. Korea’s NEAR Brain presented its AI-powered brain imaging and surgical navigation platform.
From technology to the clinical workflow
Beyond the technology itself, another recurring theme was how these solutions fit into the clinical workflow. Several exhibitors presented technologies designed not simply to generate more data, but to support what happens next – whether in surgery, monitoring, diagnosis or patient management.
Precision meets robotics – Taiwan’s Point Robotics Medtech presented its robotic-assisted navigation system for minimally invasive spine surgery.
From measurement to clinical decision-making, Connecteve demonstrated its AI-powered lower-limb alignment measurement tool for orthopaedic applications.
Seeing the equipment up close also brought the practical side of these technologies into focus. At the SinusView AIR display, the device and its demonstration offered a closer look at how someone would interact with it. Yup, my sinuses were clear!

Different markets, one exhibition floor
MEDICAL FAIR ASIA was also a reminder of just how international the MedTech market has become. National and ecosystem pavilions brought technologies and companies from different markets onto the same exhibition floor.
